LEARNING SUPPORT

Despite the self-discipline and good study habits that you have developed, medical school requires new ways of learning, studying, and preparing for success. Whether you are looking to strengthen your study habits, prepare for board exams, navigate a curriculum transition, or gain confidence in a particular subject, the Office of Student Progress offers personalized learning support to help you reach your goals.

How We Help

Our learning specialists work with you to develop strategies that fit your needs and the demands of medical education. Together, you will build effective approaches for studying, time management, organization, exam preparation, clinical learning, and long-term academic success. Throughout your training, you will also find targeted programming to support major milestones, including transitions between curriculum phases and preparation for the USMLE Step 1 and Step 2 CK exams.

How to Connect

When additional support is needed, we coordinate peer and faculty tutoring to reinforce course content, strengthen clinical reasoning, and prepare for exams. Students who need academic accommodations are also supported through the accommodations process in partnership with the University Accessibility Center and program leadership. Our goal is to connect you with the right resources at the right time so you can learn with confidence and continue progressing toward your career as a physician.
