ACADEMIC PROGRESS & POLICIES

Medical school does not always unfold exactly as planned. Whether you are navigating academic challenges, a leave of absence, accommodations, or other circumstances that affect your progress, the Office of Student Progress is here to help you understand your options and move forward with confidence.

Support Services

Student support is collaborative and focused on helping you succeed. If you are working with the Student Progress Committee, we will help you understand the process, coordinate required follow-up activities, and answer questions along the way. Throughout every interaction, our role is to provide guidance and support—not to determine grades, academic standing, promotion, or dismissal. Those decisions are made through the School of Medicine’s established governance processes.
