Why BYU?Just as I felt called to join the BYU faculty in the Biology Department in 2010 to help them build a pioneering program in Discipline-Based Education Research (DBER), I felt called by the Lord to join the BYU School of Medicine faculty to pioneer this new program both in teaching and research. I have always had a deep love for all things biology-related (even went down the pre-med pathway) and I have felt like the Lord has prepared me for this position in so many ways. |
